The following is an update on the use of Internet Explorer 8 and offer crediting.
We have been seeing an increase in crediting with members that use Internet Explorer version 8.0.
When it first came out, back in May of 2009, members where reporting crediting issues. Now, many members are reporting that certain offers, like the "The Rewards Pro" and "Rewards.nu" seem to be crediting better, and are allowing members to get further through the survey.
We expect this to be the case as more and more new advertisers program their offers to work on the latest versions.
If you are currently using an older version of Internet Explorer, we recommend that you consider upgrading to Internet Explorer version 8.0.

Please make sure that you avoid using any services like gmx.com, dodgeit.com, thisisnotmyrealemail.com and many others.
These services often use SSL encryption system & anti-spam modules that target mail from our advertisers, so in most cases you will not receive the confirmation email or any other communications from the advertiser.
These temporary/disposable emails often becomes inactive/deleted after a certain amount of time (whether that be minutes, hours or days) and is usually one that does not require you to register for it.
Anyone found to be using temporary or disposable emails will be subject to termination.
If you are not sure about a particular email service, please feel free to open up a trouble ticket.

Hello Valued Members,
We are happy to let you know that all "ACTIVE" members points balance have been converted to the new points system.
It appears that all balances have been converted successfully as of 7:00 am July 5th.
The Conversion Formula for the points system was 1 old point = 5 new points.
For example, if you had 6 points in the old system, your account will now show 30 points.
SPECIAL NOTE: You will see a adjustment for your points listed in your history if you have more than 5 points listed. If not, your balance will simply jump from 5 points to 25 points automatically without a record listed in your points history.
In the near future, we will be adding points to most of our offers, and will be revamping the points gift shop with new rewards.

Bi-Monthly Jackpots 
We have redesigned the Jackpot to be drawn twice monthly, with now five "5” Winners.
This gives more time for members to earn Jackpot Entries, and now 10 people will be taking home some cash every month. The new prizes will be:

Some of our members have reported that when they add the mailing information in an offer, the receive the following error message(s)
"Sorry, your address cannot be found" or
“You entered the wrong address”.
In some systems, it helps if you spell out the address, instead of using numbers.
For Example:
Say you lived at if you lived at:
1000 50th Avenue or 5092 7th Street.
You could try spelling it out as such:
1000 Fiftieth Avenue or 5092 Seventh Street.
The reason for this is sometimes an advertiser's form system see a “space” between two sets of numbers as an error, and then fails.

As is often the case with technology, there are usually some issues when new versions of software are released.
We have been hearing mixed results when members use Internet Explorer version 8.0.
Some members are claiming that offers are not tracking as well in Internet Explorer version 8.0. A major possibility of this is that many of the offers currently available where designed for Firefox or Internet Explorer version 7.0 or earlier.
If you are currently using the new version of Internet Explorer, we recommend that you downgrade back to Internet Explorer version 7.0.
Steps to determine your browser version:
- Open up your browser, and on the top menu bar, select “Help”.
- Next, select "About Internet Explorer". A window will appear containing your version number.
Steps to downgrade Internet Explorer:
Microsoft XP versions (Home, Pro & Media Center edition)
1. Click "Start" and then click "Control Panel."
2. Click "Add or Remove Programs."
3. Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
4. Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Microsoft Vista (All versions)
1. Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
2. Click "Programs".
3. Click "View Installed Updates".
4. Click on the IE 8.0 Beta Update & click uninstall.
This will restore your browser to the default version, IE version 7 for Vista.
